  This beach house is perfect for two couples. Location is exceptional for taking advantage of what Sea Ranch nature has to offer. Easy check in and check out. There is a very small room upstairs with two twin beds with great lookout windows but it could use some upgrade.

  If you are a cook note that this kitchen is very small but well stocked. The spa is great but there isn't a timer. As it's located outside the master bedroom you have to shut off the breaker or it'll run all night (easy to do). The window seats and view are priceless.   The fireplace was beautiful and very useful. The beds were quite comfortable and roomy. The kitchen was functional. The view to the ocean was spectacular. Overall, quite a relaxing vacation . Wasn’t use to dish tv. Not too many channels to choose from. All ratings were a 5!

  The house was lovely. Great ocean views. We had a fabulous time. Our only complaints are that the pillows were like bolsters. We ended up with neck and back aches. And the knives in the kitchen were really dull. Maybe put some softer pillows in the house along with a few sharp knives.

  Location and view is perfect. House is spacious with two large bedrooms downstairs and a cute loft upstairs that my son loved. Property management was very responsive (thanks Nancy!). For an expensive rental some of the little signs of care are missing: the walkway to the house is a line of haphazardly placed stones, to get to the trail you have to climb through the meadow instead of having a short cleared path, the pantry has 4 jars of celery root and basically nothing else, there is no grill so you will be cooking meals in the oven a few tantalizing steps from the deck, there is no coffee grinder and the coffee setup is a little Mr Coffee machine, etc. Again, the view and location are perfect and I had a great time, but with a little effort it could be a really nice rental befitting the price.

  Cove Overlook must’ve been designed by a genius. Even on cloudy days, the rooms were filled with natural light through the windows and skylights.
  I loved puzzling in the sunroom while enjoying the beautiful ocean views.

  A friend and I rented this ideally located, ocean view home. It had the perfect deck for relaxing with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and enjoying a wide ocean view. The house is a little dated but it is very clean, quiet and private. The management company was easy to work with, quick in their communication and retuned my deposit promptly. With the house's easy access both the the coast-front walking trail and interesting sites a short drive north, we agreed we would love to stay here again!

  We stayed at Cove Overlook in March 2021 for a week with our family. We have rented other homes at Sea Ranch for over 30 years. This house was perfect. It has a stunning ocean view which you can enjoy from the bench seating and spacious family room. The home has access to two nearby beaches and the seal rookery. The pictures and description of the home are accurate. We have already booked it again over New Year's Eve.

  Cove Overlook was an ideal place to experience Sea Ranch for the first time, or any time. We were very close to the seal mamas and pups, had a whale doing tricks for us while we were in the hot tub, took many hikes/walks, kayaking was nearby,etc. CO was conveniently located near Gualala, The Gualala Art Center and Two Fish. Fabulous time!

  This home is an older Sea Ranch home yet the current owners renovated it and it is a very comfortable home with updated flooring (wood), nice furnishings, a terrific window seat, and beds are all very comfy!! The kitchen is nicely stocked with essentials, but we four found the need for a few more cereal bowls! The hime is light and airy! The hot tub was hot and clean, not always a given at rentals in Sea Ranch. The one item this home needs attention to are the windows: some have “failed” and are cloudy, one slider is broken and very challenging to close and one screen falls off every time you go out into the deck. All in all a great comfortable home in a terrific location.
