  Bella Luna is an incredibly well designed, usable, functional, lovely and comfortable home. The owners have decorated and furnished it beautifully. The built-in and comfy window seats (space for at least 4!) offer great views of the Pacific Ocean, Monterey Cyprus trees, myriad bird species, deer and, if your'e lucky like us, a resting and strolling bobcat!
  We found the description to be accurate (better in person, in fact).
  The only suggestions we would make would be to bring your own bed pillows (unless you prefer very flat ones) and to be aware that, while the kitchen is very abundantly stocked and varied, the cooking pots are really old and there is not much variety in their size.
  For us, those are definitely not deal breakers, and the 4 of us look forward to renting this well-designed house again soon.

  This is a very nice house and we really enjoyed our stay. The home is located very close to the ocean so you could soothe in the sound of ocean while sitting in the Hot Tub. It's also only a few miles from Gualala if anything is needed. This is easily a 4.9 Star rental. The only reason it's not a 5 is there were a few lights that didn't work as well as a door lock. The sliding dos leading to the outside deck are very hard to open, they will open but it will take some persuation. But overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to rent this property again.

This trip included bringing my Mom who's in her 80's and needs grab bars in a shower. The Bella Luna Home was perfect. There was the balance of taking care of her needs along with a wonderful home for us. While she was able to comfortably sit in the living room and watch the ocean (limited view but adequate!), we were able to go hiking along the ocean trail.   We shared the house with another couple and loved the lay out of the bedrooms for privacy. The kitchen was very well equipped and even the barbecue grill was great. The location is great because we could get to the walking path easily but was far enough away so that no one ever walked by. The isolation gave us a chance to see a buck, several deer, rabbits and 2 fox sighting! We only had one complaint. Most of the windows were dirty and we could hardly see the ocean. We tried to clean a couple ourselves. I know the weather there is tough on windows but I've never experienced that at a Sea Ranch house before. As always, I thoroughly enjoy renting through your rental agency. You all have given me good advice several times and steered me towards some great houses. Looking forward to our next visit.

  Great location. Lots of wildlife. Nice section of the trail to walk. I liked the front and rear courtyard areas, they provided a nice wind break for telescope. Loved the layout, very comfortable. Kitchen nice to cook in and well appointed

  Very nice house. Well organized and clean. The two bedroom suites are separated nicely so it's great for two people or two couples.Not ocean front but there is nothing blocking the view to the ocean and it's close to the walking trail.

  We are a family of 4 with two young kids. This was the perfect home for us to stay in. Lots of space and comfy beads for all. It's in a great location for walking to the beach for whale watching. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

  Beautiful well appointed home. Perfect for two couples with sleeping rooms on opposite sides of the home. There were amazing warm sunnny days and cool ocean breezes. Close to trails. You should know that there are only partial ocean view due to cypress trees

  Lovely home, in great condition, with a really nice layout. Only disappointment is an idiosyncratic one: there are almost no windows that open. (When I’m near the ocean, I want to hear it, and I want to feel the fresh air, neither of which you can do very well *inside* this house.)
  
  Sea Ranch Escape was also mostly great to deal with. (A little snafu in getting our deposit back...took a phone call, but was dealt with eventually.) Only real complaint here is a “policy” one: really dislike that we had to make a choice between cleaning the house ourselves or paying an hourly rate for a cleaner for some unknown number of hours (so we couldn’t predict what we’d end up spending). Much prefer the airbnb model where there’s a clearly-stated cleaning fee.

  This home was very clean and very very well organized. We would rate iit 5 out out of 5 except the windows were dirty and didn’t like the plastic wind breaker for the spa. You couldn’t see through it. Loved every thing else though.
