Woodstove and central heat, hot tub, internet access. FLOOR PLAN: Tri level. Entry from driveway with bedroom (king), full bath with shower only, large tv room with 66" flat screen tv and trundle bed. Middle level has another bedroom (King) and full bath with open kitchen, dining and living. The large deck off living room with gas BBQ and picnic table. Up another flight of stairs is another small sitting room with 55" flat screen tv and work station with monitor and keyboard. Two bedrooms (queen and set of bunks). 8 person occupancy with children over 7 years old.

  Our family has rented houses, and owned one, at Sea Ranch since before I was born, in the 60’s, up until we sold 5 years ago. This was our first time back up since then. Sea Pony is strong on SR fundamentals: quiet, well situated for walkability to the coast and Moonraker Rec. It has the unpretentious feel of a simple cabin in the woods, with space to pack in family and friends. Being a purist, I’m leery of all the TV’s and little glowing tech devices everywhere (they compete with the starlight, and we had a challenge keeping the kid unplugged!), but the living area is TV-free, and has a great selection of books. The kitchen has basic equipment, though could use a salad spinner :^). Thanks for letting us stay! We had a great time.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Pony. We had everything we needed for six adults, from plenty of lounge space, to a well appointed kitchen with new items throughout, to the hot tub in the trees and the voice activated music. We were cozy and content. Everything about our stay was completely turn key.

  The Sea Pony house is in a really incredible spot, a very pretty clearing on the hill right above the Lodge and Moonraker Recreation Center. It's surrounded by redwoods with a view of the ocean through the trees. We could hear the waves, which was really nice out on the deck and in the hot tub at night.
  
  This house is really nicely provisioned, too. We have stayed in a lot of different Sea Ranch houses, and this was the first with central heat, which was really cozy when it got cold. There are lots of Google devices throughout the house, including speakers, so the kids had fun playing music and asking questions. The kitchen has sharp knives (!) and everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner, including a Kitchen Aid mixer and a lot of baking equipment.
  
  There are two king-sized beds in the house and four bedrooms, including a trundle bed downstairs. We didn't need all the space, but we plan to go again with friends now that we know it will work for two families. There are two places to watch TV, including the landing upstairs, where we could send the kids. The TVs have all the applications we have at home, so we could watch whatever we wanted.
  
  The house is near a few trails. We were able to walk to the Lodge and Blackpoint Beach, but it was steep coming back up the hill. Driving takes about a minute.
  
  This house was the first time we stayed in a house on the hillside, and it was a pleasant surprise. It was super comfortable, thoughtfully furnished, and very clean. We will definitely stay here again.
