We have stayed here many times and every stay is perfect. We cook, in the well appointed kitchen! We take long walks along the the bluff with trails just steps from our door. We sit in the comfy andirondack chairs on the deck overlooking the meadow and ocean.
This trip we discovered the Hot Spot, at the river. Brought our camp chairs and read while the afternoon faded. What a great stay. And already booked next year. A week has become the ideal amount of time to stay!!

Fitzgerald is the perfect house for two couples. We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, the comfy beds, the beautiful views from the deck and nice new hot. The house has a lovely ocean views from every room and a pretty front garden. A couple of chairs would be nice in the garden and a barbecue would make it a 10!

This is our favorite house in Sea Ranch and we have been coming here
for many years.The open design, exterior and interior design make this
a great place to enjoy the adjoining meadows and sea. The cul de sac

Very beautiful house and view. Clean and modern interior with comfortable beds and window seats. THe garden area was in full bloom. For charging your car, you will need a specific type of attachment. Cabinets and countertops are built for taller people, but kitchen very modern and beautiful.

We have stayed at many of the Sea Ranch houses over the years but our favorite is the Fitzgerald. Great location with paths on the bluff overlooking the Pacific right outside the door. The house itself is very clean and modern and has all the amenities one would want. There's nothing more relaxing than sitting on the porch and watching the waves with a nice glass of wine.

Fitz is one of our favorite homes at Sea Ranch. Nicely furnished and comfortable surroundings. While outside on the deck, we saw whales spouting this time...very fun! Home is well maintained, and housecleaning did a good job, as we’ve come to expect from The Sea Ranch Escape team. Will be back at year end.

This is a great home with upgraded features and absolutely beautfily views. Right next to the walking path to Shell Beach with a 10 min walk. Kitchen is well stocked (except champagne glasses) and the beds are very comfortable and cozy.

We have been going to Sea Ranch for over 30 years and stayed at a variety of homes. The Fitzgerald house is by far the best. Great location on a bluff trail, the house is well maintained, very clean and comfortable. Lots of views of the ocean and bluff from the house, deck and hot tub. The managers at Sea Ranch Escape provide great customer service and are always warm and welcoming. We will keep going back!

We have made a number of trips to Sea Ranch in the past with larger groups with the focus being abalone fishing. When that went away, it fell off our radar, until recently, when we re-thought a coast get-away for our now smaller family and dog. What an excellent decision and nice surprise with the Fitzgerald House. From opening the gate to the lovely courtyard, then into the beautiful home with ocean views from every room was such a treat. The kitchen was full stocked and user friendly, with the only disruption in meal prep being whale watching (dinner can wait!) We all enjoyed the walking trail and short distance to Shell Beach. The hot tub was clean and appreciated. Del Mar Rec Center was great for a swim and sauna and close-by. Being from the foothills, we looked forward to fresh fish, so liked that we weren't too far from town for shopping.
We loved returning to Sea Ranch and staying at the Fitzgerald House was a big part of overall enjoyment of this trip. This was our first time renting with Sea Ranch Escape and it was a very efficient process, including booking, communicating information, and returning cleaning deposit. The staff were very pleasant while being helpful.

My husband and I were so lucky to find this property available at the last minute since it is clearly a favorite. We stayed for the 4th of July weekend and had a wonderful time. The living/kitchen area was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of meadow and ocean, the bedroom suites were very generous in size, and the laundry/mud room was a great convenience. We were also impressed by the high quality kitchen accessories - there was everything you would need if you like to cook and all was well maintained. We would love to return someday! One of the best houses rented over the past 40 years. Best equipped, modern kitchen of any prior rental. Modern, clean hot tub overlooking ocean. We rented The Fitzgerald House for our get away with our two friends and our dogs and the accommodations could not have been more ideal. Two master suites on either end of the house and a most comfortable and beautifully appointed living area and kitchen separating the two suites. We wanted for nothing. I can't say enough about the extremely welcoming house. I came away wanting to know The Fitzgeralds and personally thank them for trusting us (and our two dogs) with their home because that's the feeling you get when you stay there. Like you're a guest in someone's home. Lastly, the reception you receive when checking in and out is so professional and gracious. These ladies know everything about the area and are both incredibly helpful and welcoming. I want to return tomorrow!!!

We had a WONDERFUL 8 day stay in Fitzgerald House = the four of us - me, my wife, our son, and our dog Zorro. This house has everything we needed.

The one point to note: It is NOT handicapped accessible - the entrance way cobble stone are dangerous and toilets very low and hard to get
up from.

Otherwise PERFECT = we would definitely stay here agsin.

We always love staying at the Fitzgerald house. It is always so clean and cozy. Not to mention the views are great! We are able to bring our dogs here and the courtyard in front is perfect for them! I love being able to sit out on the deck with a good book and a nice ocean view. The hot tub facing the ocean was a huge plus as well! Makes it all the more relaxing. We stayed at the Fitzgerald House for the 15th or 20th time last week. As always, the house was clean, well appointed, and cozy. It is truly our home away from home. Recent additions have included new, stylish living room furniture and 4 new high end Adirondack chairs on the porch. Of note to first time renters: the kitchen comes with a minimalist pantry. It is wise to bring your own spices, oils, etc.

Fitzgerald House is very nearly the perfect vacation rental. Smartly, stylishly and comfortably furnished with a well-stocked kitchen. The front door lock is inaccessible with the provided key so you must enter from laundry room- not a huge deal (especially in the rain) but noticeable as an issue with the rental price of this home Beautiful views from nearly every window. Two nearly identical master suites make a terrific place for 2 couples -or any 2 people who want their own space. The enclosed courtyard with very thoughtfully placed warm outdoor shower head is perfect for four-legged friends. The hot tub is clean and new and placed perfectly for the view. We would have appreciated an outdoor grill, but not having one is not a big deal. One thing we did miss was dish soap and sponge. The only way to wash our dishes was the dishwasher, not a good option for pots and pans. We’re returning to this great place next week and will bring our own. We had one issue with the DVD player that was handled promptly by Sea Ranch Escapes management. Management company is responsive and super fair with cleaning/damage deposit. We love this company. We love this house. Our new go-to house at sea ranch.

This house is amazing with great ameneties and proximity to the beach/ocean. The walking trails are right out the back door and afford you hours of trailhead hiking and only short distance to some of the best beaches in Sea Ranch. The kitchen set up has everything you need to cook full meals and the place is just comfortable and a great place to decompress. Also, the wildlife that you can see from the deck, much less during the hikes is unbelievable and have stayed in 5 other houses in Sea Ranch and think this house has it all!

They don’t just tolerate your pup here... they WELCOME him/her. They hosts provide weighted dog dishes (in case you forgot to bring yours) and have an outdoor shower to wash away the trail dust, beach sand, and whatever your dog rolls in. 🙄. They also have special doggy towels to dry them off. Both bedrooms have King-sized beds, making this the perfect home for two couples. Fitzgerald house is just a short walk to Shell Beach (the best beach at Sea Ranch, in my view) and the awesome cypress grove walk. The kitchen is well-equipped, spacious, and absolutely lovely! We cooked ALL our meals here. This is one of our favorite homes, and we have been coming to Sea Ranch for 30 years.

North sea ranch house perfect for 2 couples and dogs. Great location, but bring ALL your own condiments (they did not even have salt) and find instructions for master bath shower and call the management co with questions. We always go with sea ranch escapes as they have properties with full linens and housekeeping.

WE have been coming to Sea Ranch for 15 years and since finding the Fitzgerald we do not stay anywhere else. The exterior is unassuming typical Sea Ranch home, but once inside it is very well appointed with upscale amenities and a level of comfort that really aids the relaxation. It if very close to the hiking trails on the bluff and there is nothing better after a day of hiking than watching the sunset from the jacuzzi. When we were contemplating a vacation this year and gave the kids the option to go to Disneyland they chose Sea Ranch and that says it all! Great place would recommend to family that wants to have the full Sea Ranch experience.

Loved my time at Sea Ranch. We love the Fitzgerald house so try to stay there at least once a year. The Fitzgerald House is fantastic for two couples (and a dog!). The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house and are both suites. The living room is huge and the views are fantastic. We used the hot tub at least twice a day. My only complaint is that with tile floors and glass tables the echoes are a bit loud, it could use another rug or two.

My family absolutely loves the Fitzgerald, inluding our dogs. There is nothing more relaxing then sitting in the jacuzzi and enjoying the full moon on the ocean. The kitchen is fully loaded and just a wonderful spot to prepare food while enjoying the ocean views. The week we were there it was 105 or hotter at home, so the mid 60's was quite pleasant.

My friend and I have been staying in the Fitzgerald house at Sea Ranch in the spring for over ten years.
The house is exquisite, linens are provided, the kitchen is completely furnished with the highest end equipment, the views are unsurpassed, and it is only a few minutes easy walk to see the baby Harbor Seals at their rookery. We also see lots of other wildlife from the Fitzgerald house- fawns, baby skunks, baby raccoons, and many birds. Fitzgerald is perfect!

We have been visiting Sea Ranch for approx. 40 years. We decided years ago that we liked renting different houses. We do have our favorites, but they always tend to be favored by others, too. We had never been to the Fitzgerald house before. We were very happy with the house. It was more cozy than it looked in the pictures. It was well laid out, and the hot tub was wonderful!! The walk to the bluff was a short one. The path started at the end of the driveway. We would definitely rent this house again.

We have stayed at thus property a number of times and have always had a good experience. It is well designed and appointed. This time we had a power outage and there were no matches, candles or lanterns. We had to go into town for supplies. House could have been better prepared.

  Hi Jon, Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, as we discussed on the phone the day the power was out, there is not much we can do for unplanned power outages. Most homeowners do not have matches or candles in the home because of the liability. After your phone call, I contacted the housekeeper and there was, in fact, a very large "police style' flashlight with batteries in the drawer under the telephone. Your feedback has prompted me to make a list of all homes and where the flashlights are kept, so the next time there is a power outage, we can tell guests when they call. Overall, a very good experience. I've been renting for years at Sea Ranch and the additional fees and taxes this year we're a surprise.The house was very nice and had a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our stay and found the property to be clean and comfortable, nicely furnished, and well appointed. My only complaint was with the master bedroom mattress which was too soft. The location is conveniently located near the beach trail and has beautiful coastal views. We were a bit surprised, however, that the neighboring properties were so close. Fitzgerald is sandwiched between two other homes at the end of a cul de sac. Fortunately, neither home was occupied during our stay, so it wasn't a problem, but I feel that privacy could be an issue especially with the vast amount of windows and expansive outdoor deck.

All 4 of us enjoyed this home. The views are spectacular. The window seats in each bedroom are dreamy. It has wonderful walk-in tile showers in each bathroom. The counters in the kitchen and bathroom are built for tall people--very enjoyable. The only draw back is that when the sun shines, the kitchen/living room area gets super hot. There are sun shades to pull down, but the room does remain hot. It is very hot in the afternoon on the deck-but the view of the ocean is great and the stars at night are wonderful. The enclosed garden is beautiful. We really enjoyed this home. We cooked every meal at home--so we would have appreciated a more completely stocked kitchen, but we survived by running the dishwasher more often. Access to the walking trail is a little more difficult to access than other homes, but we did get out and walk on the road and the trail....You'll enjoy your visit.
