  We have stayed here many times over the last couple of years and love every visit. The views are lovely. Many comfortable places to rest and read. There is an unusually good collection of books. The hottub and outdoor shower is great. And the updated kitchen makes cooking easy and fun. Only regret is that the second bedroom no longer has a bunk bed. We now bring an air mattress for our second child to sleep on the floor as we enjoy the house so much.

We love the location with the big water views. The ocean view from the hot tub is unique in that you can actually see the water while relaxing in the tub. For a compact kitchen, it is fully equipped. The owners have made this rental a very accommodating home away from home, no matter how long one is staying. We look forward to a future getaway!

  Littoralis perfectly suited our needs. Very comfortable with everything that we needed. This was my first time in this house and will definitely be back. We did have an evening where the batteries in the fire alarm caused repeated beeping, and there was someone out right away to fix replace the batteries. I also had some car issues, and the office staff were VERY helpful in getting me what I needed to get back on the road, still in the middle of the pandemic. Great office, great home.

  First thing to mention is the incredible ocean view. It is amazing Second, the home is really well situated with nothing but an open field and ocean beyond that. The home is really comfortable as well. This house is in a great area of Sea Ranch, a good walk to to Shell Beach which is our favorite beach.
  
  We will be back!
  
  One note - we miss the bunkbed in the second bedroom. The cot that replaced it worked for one of our two kids but not as comfortable as the bunkbed.

  This house is really cozy and comfortable; It feels very lived in and it's nothing fancy on the inside, but the open floor plan made for great conversations while cooking with friends, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the cozy wood stove kept us warm on really chilly and rainy days. The beds were very comfortable, which helped with some much needed relaxation and rest. And the views could not have been better--you are surrounded on all sides with blue and some white water views. We even saw some whales while reading on the window seats! The surroundings are a buzz with wildlife—we saw hummingbirds and deer every day. And let's not forget the hot tub--it was actually hot and big enough for four people to enjoy with some extra leg room.
  
  Also, for two English professors looking to get away from the stress of a busy semester, the selection of books to read was really great--a little something for everyone's interests.
  
  We have vacationed in Sea Ranch many, many times and through different agencies, and although we have enjoyed each and every stay, this would be a place we would like to return: the location was perfect (a short drive to town), the view was incredible, the kitchen was stocked, and (as an added bonus) the people at this particular rental agency could not have been nicer or more helpful. We hope to return to this particular spot in the future.

It's very bright and comfortable. The new kitchen is lovely and easy to cook in. The hot tub allows you to view the ocean which is a treat.   Nice home with gorgeous views. It was hard to leave! The kitchen was nicely upgraded. My only concern with the unit was that it did not have an enclosed patio, which would have been nice for the dog. They told me that there was not a BBQ, but there ended up being one. I was also concerned that the rental company deposited the $300 security deposit as soon as they received it, instead of waiting until after they inspected the property. I also felt rushed on the day I was leaving, as they called me near the checkout time to find out when I would arrive, and to let me know that the credit card did not go through, which was a problem on their end. In addition, I spent an inordinate amount of time cleaning the place, as the directions to clean it were very detailed. It in fact looked cleaner than when I arrived. Overall though, it was a lovely experience!

  since this is my 4th stay at Littoralis over the past 7 years it speaks for itself.
  I have been here alone and with my family. Always happy to see the place coming in and sad to have to leave.
  Obviously it is not the house itself that makes me feel this way alone but the whole neighborhood and the sea.
  The latter has not changed much at all over the years. The house has been somewhat ”modernized” by getting one more room, solar electric power, wi-fi & smart TV as well as ”updated” kitchen.
  Some may consider it a plus. I preferred being ”cut off” from the world’s noises. Especially tweets.

  We've been going to Sea Ranch for 35 years, almost 25 as family vacations in which we've stayed at larger homes and either close to bluff or on the bluff. This getaway was just my wife and myself - so we didn't need a large house. And, we decided to change things up a little by staying in a different location. My expectations weren't high. But from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left, the Littoralis House completely exceeded our expectations. It was more than enough room for 2, the kitchen was great, the hot tub was used a lot and the internet was fast (perfect for those like us who had to jump on Zoom calls during their "vacation"). And, most unexpectantly, the bottle of sparkling wine with a Valentine's note was a beautiful touch. We felt so welcomed from the first arrival. We actually never got in our car again, spending all of our time on long hikes, lounging in the multiple reading and relaxing areas and in the hot tub. And, the best part about the location is the vast view of the ocean. Being on a higher setting is a completely different perspective than being on the bluff. It was fabulous! We loved every minute and will definitely return! Our only recommendation is to add a sink disposal. But that is just a small observation that had no bearing on our wonderful stay. We've already recommended the house to friends. Thanks for a wonderful Valentine's weekend!

  My family loved our first stay at Lightfoot so much that the day that we packed our things and left, we decided that we wanted to come back again. The home is a perfect size for our family of 3 + our labrador retriever. The kitchen is one of the nicest we have ever used at a Sea Ranch property, and the layout of the whole home is wonderful. Having the private outdoor shower next to the hotub was super helpful and you can't beat the view from that living room! From the handful of homes we have rented in Sea Ranch, we feel like Lightfoot is our favorite - hands down.

  We spent 3 days at Littoralis, and enjoyed the ocean views. The big window seat was great for reading and naps. Sitting in the hot tub looking at the stars at night was great. The house is in a good location - only a short walk to the path by the ocean. We saw deer, squirrels, and even a bobcat. The house is not fancy, but is cozy and comfortable. The beds are little creaky, but comfortable. I would stay here again for a relaxing getaway.

  There were problems with the house, it was not clean upon arrival, the bbq was broken causing a mess, and I filled out the guest slip, but when I returned to check out, no one was there, the woman who was doing "real estate" made me wait outside rather then accept my key pack. I waited 15 minutes before I finally just left the pack on the desk. I felt she was very rude...she couldnt excuse herself one minute to take my pack to check out. I understand she was with a client, but she made me stand outside the door and wait. I am a client as well.....very upsetting as my father and I have been coming to the Sea Ranch for 40 plus years, Rams Head has gone down hill and we were trying to find someone else to be comfortable renting with. Oh well

  I knew the location of the house is in the meadow but the view of the ocean is delightful. We had a perfect coastal weather when we stayed at Sea Ranch. We watched the sunset every day from outside for "happy hour". The house is between Shell Beach, which is a sandy and protected beach, and the bigger recreation center. It was really logistically perfect for us going back and forth the beach, house, and pool/sauna. It's also a few minutes to Gualala for last minute grocery shopping. The house is perfect for a couple. There's only one full bathroom upstairs and I can imagine it would be too crowded to share with other people. The house has everything you need but don't expect updated furniture. It's simple, cozy and I loved it.

  We really enjoyed our time in this sweet little house overlooking a flowery meadow where deer roamed in the early morning. We had a great view of the ocean and the weather was surprisingly warm for the CA northern coast. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, rooms were cute and clean. Only complaint is that the queen bed (in the room without bunk beds) was very creaky and wobbly. Other than that, we loved our stay and would return again. My only complaint was that there weren't any curtains or shades on either of the bed room windows, which were quite large, so our sleeping depended on when the sun went down and came up.   We had a very nice time and SRE is great to work with. After complaining about our dog being off leash, the lady across the street did the same thing. Not only that, but her dog barked for an hour straight while she was away. Pretty hypocritical. Some ammo for you if that lady continues to be a problem and mean to your staff. The house could have been cleaner and the upstairs shower drain is backed up and needs to be cleaned out. Hope this information is useful to you.

  Cute rental that was comfortable and cozy. This house was more modest than most of the Sea Ranch rentals we have stayed in in the past, but it was perfectly fine for a family of four. The one complaint we had was that the house was dirty -- cobwebs in the cabinets, bugs in the clock on the stove. Seemed as if it might not have been rented for a while.
