We loved our short stay at Sea Ridge! It’s SO private, ant the end of a long driveway, and even has a view of the ocean between stands of Redwood trees.
Easy access to hiking and bluff walks via a short car ride. Or if you’re very athletic you can walk down to the ocean from a trail off the driveway. The house was as described; clean, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable bedding, nice deck and living room furniture. Hot tub was great and also private.
We always enjoy renting from Sea Ranch Escape, they are easy to work with, friendly and attentive if there are issues.
We look forward to returning to Sea Ridge next year!

We were delighted with this very quiet, large home on the ridge. Beautiful long distance ocean view, often above the fog. Lots of wild life including a fox! The home is well furnished with great beds and kitchenware. There are several trails to walk to the bluff if you don’t mind hills.....we enjoyed the workout! We’ve stayed in many Sea Ranch Escapes homes and this is a top favorite.....we will return. And we always receive outstanding customer service from Kara, Lynn and Cathy at Sea Ranch Escapes. This house is my favorite Sea Ranch experience to date. You get stunning ocean views, all from the privacy of a hillside retreat. You have no immediate neighbors here and yet, a trail from the driveway leads straight down to the beach and oceanfront meadow trail. The house is very well equipped, especially in the kitchen. The pots, pans, and knives are all excellent - a chef's dream. I can't imagine a more perfect experience.

We had a lovely visit to Sea Ridge. The home is beautiful, clean and plenty of room for our family of four. The views were great and we appreciate the easy access to the trail to the beach (just a .5 mile walk). We requested linen service but it was not done prior to our arrival; thankfully Ralph delivered sheets and towels within a few hours.

One of the best houses I’ve stayed in at Sea Ranch over the past 40 years. High quality construction. The house isolation in the trees while still affording an ocean view was unique. The kitchen was the best I’ve ever had. The openness of the kitchen/eating area/common space was well designed. Two master bedrooms were separated and very comfortable. There is ample deck space and a comfortable hot tub. There is a trail leading to the ocean but it’s steep and not appropriate for everyone

The Sea Ridge house is rather perfect for either two couples or a family. The house is in immaculate shape and everything is new (or nearly new). The deck and view are spectacular.

Only caveat I’d offer is that the driveway is pretty steep so, unless you’re an athlete, you’ll probably want to drive to a trail then take your hike. I mean it is really THAT steep (and that is coming from a San Franciscan).

House is beautifully designed and built, filled with light from early to late. Blond woods and furniture add to the brightness. Ocean view through the evergreens can be seen from all rooms but one, and windows perfectly frame the sunset.

This was our second visit to the property and it will be our first choice in Sea Ranch from now on. from the amazing views, the sunny window seats, and the relaxing spa, it just doesn't get much better. We really appreciate that the house offers a little of everything - ocean views, beautiful sunny meadow to the back and forested on the other three sides. Very clean and modern, there is natural light in every room. It's very private and you couldn't ask for a more restful and renewing experience.

This was our third visit to The Sea Ranch and our first time staying at this house. The home was spotless and well maintained. The layout of the house was incredibly functional, and the setting so serene and private. The architect really knew what he was doing when he created this dream home. Almost every room has an ocean view. The furnishings are "minimalist" and clutter free, which we found relaxing. We had another couple join us for 2 nights, and it was a perfect layout for 2 couples. We had previously been staying closer to the ocean, but the privacy of this home made it a keeper for us. We've already scheduled our next visit now that we've found our perfect vacation spot at The Sea Ranch.

Total privacy from other houses and street. Easy access. As described by others, only a few steps to main level where the living room, dining room, kitchen, 1 master bedroom suite w/King bed and bath w/double vanity, 2nd bedroom w/2 twin beds, a full hall bath and washer and dryer. Hot tub is also on this level accessed through both the hall back door and master bedroom. The upstairs has a small loft with loveseat, TV, and small desk area, and the 2nd master bedroom with almost identical bath as master downstairs. This loft would be a great place for someone who might need to get a little work done.

The kitchen is adequate. Excellent cookware. Basic spices probably left by others. There was no oil, so can't count on truly having all the basics needed for cooking;

We used both king beds and one of the twins. The 2 twin mattresses were not identical. 1 of them was comfortable (according to my friend who slept on it). The other bed did not seem comfortable. It felt somewhat like an air bed but it wasn't. If there was anything to improve at this house, it would be to replace this mattress.
The king beds had 4" thick memory foam mattress toppers and they felt wonderful!

Sea Ranch Escapes was wonderful to deal with. They were efficient and did everything they said that they would. I requested housekeeping and left the house tidy. They charged me $45 for cleaning, the amount estimated and I received my deposit in the mail minus the $45 in less than a week. Very trustworthy. We had to bring our garbage to the designated enclosed bin up near the road eventhough housekeeping was requested. It was a bit inconvenient considering how long the driveway is. I wish they included this in housekeeping duties but I was told it wasn't when I called to ask.

I will definitely be back to this house. The high ceilings, great floor plan and wonderful views made us feel totally at home. I didn't miss being in an oceanfront propert

Very private location and plenty of private space inside, too. An extended power outage ruined a meal in the making, but the Lodge came through with good food, good drinks and excellent customer service. We will be returning!

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. The only thing was my sleep wasn't as good as I would have liked as there were two skylights in our bedroom so the light in the AM woke me too early. We usually rent a ocean side house but decided to try hillside house to compare. Very private and quiet. Loved the view from the deck.Very comfortable and bright home. The pillows on the king size bed should be replaced as they were lumpy and soiled. Only two wine glasses.Could have used more than one towel per person for our 4 day stay. We will bring our own towels next time and not pay for linen service. But other than that we were quite happy even when we lost power for several hours. Watching the storms over the ocean was awesome.

Great home, private, well- maintained. The only negative for me would be the "garbage" situation...there is no garbage disposal, the garbage can is sitting out in the kitchen and the garbage cans are far away(a drive up the hill). Otherwise it is a lovely location, very private.

This is a terrific house & close to Two Fish Bakery. Only downside -- Long steep driveway.
The hot tub was not working but staff was responsive by sending out a repairman. When it couldn't be fixed we were disappointed but fairly compensated.
